1) Accepted payment methods

We accept the following cards at checkout:

  • Maestro

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

Additional payment methods (e.g., digital wallets or BNPL) may be shown at checkout and are available where supported by your device, location and our payment processor.

2) Currency, pricing & taxes

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£) and [include/exclude] VAT (confirmed at checkout).

  • We may correct obvious pricing or availability errors. If an error affects your order before dispatch, we’ll contact you and may cancel and refund in full.

3) When you’re charged

  • For in-stock items, payment is typically captured at checkout.

  • For pre-orders/backorders (if offered), we may authorise the card at checkout and capture on dispatch; details will be stated on the product page.

4) Security & verification

  • Payments are processed by our third-party provider(s) (e.g., Shopify Payments/Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

  • Strong Customer Authentication (e.g., 3D Secure) may be required.

  • To prevent fraud, we may run verification checks or decline/cancel orders we cannot verify. Any captured funds will be refunded if we cancel before dispatch.

5) Billing details & address accuracy

Please ensure your billing and shipping details are correct. Orders flagged by the bank or our processor may be delayed until verified.

6) Cancellations & changes

You can request a cancellation or change within 10 minutes of placing your order by emailing info@toy-district.com
After 10 minutes, orders usually enter processing/dispatch and cannot be cancelled. You can still return after delivery under our Return & Refund Policy.

7) Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Once we confirm and process your refund, please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or card provider to post the funds (times vary by provider).

  • If your card has expired or the account is closed, your bank will direct the funds per their procedures.

8) Chargebacks & disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at info@toy-district.com —we can usually resolve issues quickly. If a chargeback is filed, we will provide documentation to the card issuer.

9) Gift cards & store credit

  • Toy-District gift cards (if offered) are redeemable online and are not refundable or redeemable for cash (unless required by law).

  • Store credit issued by us is applied to your account/email and may have an expiry date stated at issuance.

10) Promotions & vouchers

Promo codes must be entered at checkout and apply to eligible items/dates only. Unless stated, promotions can’t be combined and have no cash value.
